Welcome to Red Centre Photo!

I'm Matt, and I live in Alice Springs in the centre of Australia. I'm trying to improve my photography skills, and despite the fact I don't get out all that often I do occasionally manage to take a decent snap or two on my travels.

I'm putting them here so that I can share them with people I know, and document my slow improvement with a camera.

Most of the pictures you'll see will come from the Red Centre and Top End of the Northern Territory, focusing mainly on landscapes with the occasional bit of wildlife thrown in for good measure.

As of 22-05-17 when I wrote this, I'm using:

• Canon 700D DSLR body
• EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5 - 5.6 IS STM (kit lens)
• EF-S 55-250mm f/4 - 5.6 IS STM (kit lens)
• EF-S 24mm f2.8 STM pancake
• EF 75-300mm f/4 - 5.6 MkIII
• EF 50mm f/1.8 STM MkII
• SpeedLite 430EX III

Lately I've been daydreaming about upgrading to a full-frame model, and the Canon 5D appears to be the body of choice so I'll just have to keep tucking away the pennies until a nice shiny MkIV finds its way into my bag.

While I'd really like to not have to have to spell it out; all images posted here are original content. I took the photos, I edited them, and I posted them here to this site that I own and operate.
